Jack has spent much of his career developing and utilizing his extensive experience in business planning, real estate, and taxation as a CPA at Deloitte, LLP. Jack is also an owner of multiple business and commercial real estate interests, acting in a managing or advisory capacity for several of these investments. He is also a licensed attorney with litigation and general business practice experience.
After a successful 30-year career with Deloitte, where he reached the level of tax partner after three years, Jack retired from active practice in 2009. Jack is well regarded for his creativity in structuring tax and business planning transactions. This, coupled with his technical knowledge of the law and general business experience, allows him to produce exceptional results for his clients.
While at Deloitte, Jack handled tax planning for both public and privately held corporations, S-corporations, and partnerships. His clients have included companies and executives in diverse areas such as manufacturing, real estate, and services. He has extensive expertise in complex tax planning for multinational companies with worldwide operations, designing and planning sophisticated leveraged acquisitions and joint venture transactions, as well as developing creative financing alternatives. Today, Jack advises a select number of clients that followed him after leaving Deloitte, who continue to value his advisory input on their business interests. Jack’s background in accounting, law and business, his many years of technical experience, the creativity he brings to solving challenges in the business and financial world, as well as his skill at developing lasting relationships, trust and rapport with clients and partners, have led to a successful and satisfying career for him. Before joining Deloitte, Jack was a practicing attorney for four years with a litigation and general business firm. He is a graduate of the University of Detroit (B.S. in Accounting) and the University of Detroit Law School (J.D.)
